Scott Livingston is a Senior Associate at Hughes & Company with a focus on deal execution, evaluation, and portfolio management. He joined Hughes & Company in 2025 after working with the firm throughout his time at business school.

Scott began his career in the equity research arm of Bloomberg LP as an Associate covering medical devices, supplies, and robotics. After three years in research, he transitioned into the strategy and corporate development group of a medical devices company, Tandem Diabetes Care, responsible for manufacturing insulin pumps for Type 1 diabetics. Scott was the third hire within Tandem’s S&CD group and supported the business’s venture investment, mergers and acquisitions, and annual strategic planning activities.

Scott holds an MBA with honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business with concentrations in healthcare and entrepreneurship, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Statistics from the University of Maryland, College Park.
