Jeff Wood is an Operating Partner at Hughes & Company with a focus on portfolio management. Jeff has worked with Travis Hughes and Jim Denny for over fifteen years and officially joined the Firm in 2026.

Jeff has led Product, Strategy, Marketing and Corporate Development functions at growth stage software companies, including Blackbaud, MedAssets/FinThrive, and Navicure/Waystar. Jeff has also served as an Operating Advisor at JMI Equity and as an independent consultant to help companies assess new markets, launch products, and tap AI to accelerate their operations.

Jeff holds an MBA with Distinction in Management & Strategy, Marketing and Nonprofit Management from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from the University of Georgia.
